HAPPY VALENTINES DAY and a Freebie..

Wow! It is so hard to believe that it is already the middle of February.  Where does the time go?  Many of you know that my Hubby had his left knee replaced last June and he is now recovering from the right knee that was replaced last month. Phew.. He has been through it in the past year.  He is recovering quite well and I am so proud of him for working so hard through the pain he has had to face.  He is the love of my life and next to my kids I can't imaging loving anyone more. 

As I reflect on my life thus far I can only tell you that I have been so blessed. I have traveled many bumpy roads to get to where I am now and I am sure there are still some yet to come but I know that I am truely blessed with the Love of Family.  My children are the greatest and they (ages 20 +16) always remember to tell me they love me and that means the world to me.

 Ya know my 20 year old is away at college and is starting to realize what life is like when you are no longer the kid and facing adult hood head on.  The road has been tough and I know that he has a lot more road to travel but I want him to know on this Valentines Day that I am so Proud of him for all of his accomplishments and want him to know that he can do all he sets his mind to and more.. Just believe in Yourself son..


To my 16 year old. I am so proud of the young man you are and for all the wonderful things you do. You are a bright and caring person and you don't need to change a thing. Be yourself despite all that other people may tell you that you should be.  Remember that I love you and that I believe in you and know you also can achieve great things if you only reach for them.  They are not out of your reach you just have to stretch a little more. 

I have a 20 year old step son also and I really wish we were closer but that just hasn't happened yet. I am very proud that he has entered college and is working towards making a future for himself.  I want him to know that I am thinking of him today also and that I believe he should strive to reach his goal of becoming a Chef and to know that we believe he can do it he needs to listen to his heart and not all the others in his life that are telling him that is not the proper choice for him.  He is an adult now and should be making decisions for himself and not letting others rule his life.  Son you are the greatest .. Reach for the stars!!

Last but not least to my hubby:
I am thankful for you. Your love for me is outstanding and you are always sure to make sure I know how much you care and love me. You take care of me better than anyone has ever been able to. You are a wonderful and caring man and I am so lucky that I have you in my life. Never stop loving me as I will never stop loving you.
